Kikori Whiskey—the first Japanese rice whiskey introduced to the US market in 2016, announces Kikori Ten. With only 312 bottles available, Kikori Ten is an exclusive iteration aged for 10 years in a single oloroso sherry cask. Priced at $179.99, each bottle is individually numbered and made from 100% Kyushu rice (similar to the flagship Kikori).
Kikori Ten carries scents of jasmine and light puffed rice notes underlined with nutty barrel tones. A creative process started in 2011, Founder Ann Soh Woods aimed to produce a more enhanced mouthfeel in the aging process that resulted in a smooth, clean palate with a complex finish.
