Over the years, we've watched whiskey labels become increasingly specific; single-malts, small-batch, limited edition and single-barrel options abound. But it doesn't get any more exclusive than a single barrel sold to a single person--you.

Don't forget Wasmunds Whiskies (Single Malt, Rye and unaged spirits). They are available in the same way and they start with a a 2 bottle barrel (a lot cheaper way to get started in terms or price and quantity). Also they sell the barrels separately so you can use them to age whatever you want, rum ,bitters , etc.,.Barrels cost about $40 empty(plus shipping).
